Travel Advice Required

I thought i was the expert on packing light. Now I am in desperate need of some advice! Does anyone out there have any ideas for me?

• Do I really need my winter pyjamas (weight: 600 grams) when my home will be centrally heated?
• Do I need an umbrella when i'm taking a $500 Gore-tex raincoat?
• How many pink tops & jackets is too many? (please don't say any number less than 7)
• Should I take those trousers that are just a tiny bit too tight, or am I going to stack on the kilos with German cakes and never fit into them in a month's time anyway?

My bags weigh 20kg already - and I haven't yet packed my sleeping bag, Therm-a-rest, jewellery, toiletries, or electricals. YIKES!

Wildlife in Australia

This is a local Neutral Bay specimen.

I nearly hit a wallaby in my street in suburban Sydney this week - no joke! These kangaroos in the photo were just hanging out in Coffs Harbour at our campsite there. One has a joey!

My lovely friends "Vish yu a Harpy Harpy Birfday Stefv!" Is that what I sound like when I speak German? Uh oh!

It rained in Port Stephens!

And then the car battery went flat in Coffs Harbour (within walking distance of Big W, thank goodness, but it was ten to 5pm in a country town... we were lucky! Lucky Luke!) 

But then the weather fined up and we finally started working on our suntans (sunburns) in Byron Bay. 

I am the queen of luxury camping, even Luke had fun!
