Anzac Day in Tübingen with potato salad, coleslaw, snags and fresh bread rolls, Anzac biscuits, kiwi fruits, and Hardy's export chardonnay! My kitchen hosted the feast, and this photo puts the kitchen in an extremely good light! It is not always this clean and happy!  Posted by Hello

Steph & the pineapple. Today Catherine and I went on a very long walk to find the flea market! I bought a spanner that ended up being too small, and a pineapple. It was 1 euro. On the way home we passed the open-air swimming pool which opens for the summer season in May and has TWO waterslides. We also found some rockclimbing walls, and Catherine showed me this secret tunnel that takes a shortcut through the mountain and you end up back in town! This town is SOOOOOOOOOO cool! Posted by Hello

Class 4 of the orientation course, on the final night of the course. They booked out a restaurant for us, 80 people in total! I got my final exam result and I got a 2+ which is halfway between "Good" and "Very good" - and I was out til 1:00am at Susan & Kate's birthday the night before! Posted by Hello

Spanners & Screwdrivers

It is very hard to put Ikea things together without a hardware store! The one in Tuebingen just happens to close early on a Saturday... and of course, Sunday is rest-day, and not a single place is open. No Ikea side table for Steph until Monday at the earliest...

And two weeks until my first UTS assignment is due, oh dear me, I don't know when I will find time to write it. Oh and I forgot I have to do my homework for the orientation course tomorrow too! I also need to choose my subjects for uni here. The main problem is that each subject I'm interested is run on Tuesdays in overlapping timeslots. But all things running to plan, I will come home with a third language: either Italian or Swedish!

IKEA trip! I had to carry this stuff home in a rucksack on a bus, a tram, a train and then another bus. Was totally worth it! Posted by Hello
